Bhagwati Memorial Public School was founded by Mrs. Usha Nautiyal, in the memory of her husband (Late) Mr. Bhagwati Prasad Nautiyal. Known for her unparalleled dedication towards the field of education, Mrs. Nautiyal has left no stones unturned to ensure the school provides the very best learning methodologies and infrastructure to the students who enroll here.
An educationist with more than 30 years of experience in the field of education and social work, Mrs. Usha Nautiyal holds double Post Graduate degrees and is a B.Ed, as well. She holds a diploma in creative writing and has authored a travelogue “Rotterdam to Rome”.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
BMPS has been a hallmark of education in Srinagar, Garhwal, for over three decades now.
Our undying enthusiasm to match the standards at our school to that of schools in the metros has motivated us to bring in innovative learning methodologies for students and training for teachers.
A school is a second home to every child. They learn not only theories but discipline and virtues here, as well. This is the place where they learn to socialize and learn life skills, which will help them become independent, yet empathetic citizens of tomorrow. Every child at BMPS is dear to us, and we make sure they are studying well, learning at their own pace but learning nonetheless, and also becoming adept at various co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Our students have adorned our Trophy Hall for the last three decades with their skills and enthusiasm, and they carry that achievement everywhere they go in their life. I strongly believe that our school will continue to grow and create many more such remarkable individuals who would be an asset to our society and to our country.

Bhagwati Memorial Public School was founded on May 2, 1988, in the fond memory of renowned educationist of Narendranagar, in the hill state of Uttarakhand, Late Mr. Bhagwati Prasad Nautiyal

Mr. Nautiyal was known for his keen interest and dedication to continuous learning and discipline. These are the two values that BMPS, as a school, has tried to uphold ever since its inception. It has been working tirelessly in developing ways to inculcate these values in every generation that has walked through its halls and studied in its classrooms.

Apart from ensuring quality education, the methodologies to provide said education has also been a prime focus for the management of BMPS. Right from embracing innovative education technologies such as Smart Classes and state-of-the-art labs, to bringing in experts and mentors from various fields to provide career orientation classes for students and training for teachers, the school continues to add to its offerings in providing holistic development for both students and teachers.
In today’s competitive technology-fed environment, we are trying to create empathetic and grounded individuals by honing both their Emotional Quotient (EQ), as well as, Intelligence Quotient (IQ).
Faculty/Staff
The faculty at BMPS is a unique combination of experienced educationists with years of relevant experience in their portfolio and teachers who know how to bring out the best in every child through proper counseling. As mentioned earlier, BMPS focuses on holistic development, as such, teachers are appointed through a rigorous selection process and are trained further to ensure they not only educate the children but also instill values of confidence and humility in them. Each and every one of our teachers holds a B.Ed. and a Master’s degree.
